How to Prepare for Waxing and Aftercare.

Before Your Waxing Appointment:

Hair Length: Your hair should be at least 4 weeks grown out (about the length of a grain of rice) for the wax to grip properly.
Exfoliation: Gently exfoliate the day before your appointment to remove dead skin and help prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid harsh scrubs on the day of your wax.
Clean Skin: Arrive with clean, dry skin—skip lotions, oils, or fake tan on the area being waxed.
Pain Management: If you're sensitive to pain, you can take a mild pain reliever (like ibuprofen) 30 minutes before your appointment.
Timing Matters: Avoid scheduling a wax right before or during your period, as your skin can be extra sensitive.

After Your Waxing Appointment:

No Exercise for 24 Hours – Sweat and friction can irritate freshly waxed skin.
Skip Hot Showers, Saunas & Pools for 24 Hours – Stick to a cool shower if needed. No hot tubs, steam rooms, or chlorinated pools.
Avoid Tight Clothing – Let your skin breathe to prevent irritation.
Hands Off! – Avoid touching or scratching the area to reduce the risk of bacteria causing breakouts.
Exfoliate & Moisturize – After 48 hours, start exfoliating 2-3 times a week to prevent ingrown hairs and keep skin smooth. Use a gentle moisturizer daily.
